① Viewport

The Viewport is the main workspace where you build and review your scene. It displays the active world along with all characters, cameras, and other scene elements.

Use the Viewport to navigate around the environment, select scene elements, and review how the scene changes as you move through the Timeline.

② Project Menu

The Project Menu gives you quick access to your recent projects, project creation options, and the Dashboard.

Select the Flow Studio logo in the upper-left corner to open it.

 

③ Workspace Navigation

Workspace Navigation lets you manage scenes and switch between the 3D Editor and Canvas.

It is located at the top center of the workspace.

 

④ Asset Toolbar

The Asset Toolbar gives you quick access to all the assets you can use in your scene, including predefined content and assets you have generated or saved. From here, you can browse and manage characters, animations, cameras, and worlds before adding them to the scene.

The Asset Toolbar is located on the left side of the 3D Editor and contains panels for:

  • Characters
  • Animations
  • Cameras
  • Worlds

Select an icon to open its panel. From there, you can browse available assets in Explore or access assets you have created or saved in My Assets.

Select the active icon again, or click outside the panel, to return to the full Viewport.

⑤ Hotkey Menu

The Hotkey Menu shows the keyboard shortcuts available in the 3D Editor.

Select the keyboard icon in the lower-left corner, or press Shift + / on your keyboard, to open it.

⑥ World Generation Button

The World Generation button opens the world creation window, where you can select a model, enter a prompt, and add reference media.

⑦ Timeline

The Timeline lets you control time and preview how characters, cameras, and animations change throughout the scene.

It is located at the bottom of the 3D Editor and shows the current scene time, along with controls for playback, cameras, and keyframes.

Drag the playhead left or right to move to a specific point in the animation. As you move it, the Viewport updates to display the scene at the selected time.

You can also use the playback controls to play or pause the scene, jump to the beginning or end, and move between keyframes.

⑧ Outliner/Tree view

The Outliner, or Tree View, shows all the assets currently included in the scene.

Use it to quickly find and select characters, cameras, and other scene elements. You can also rename items to keep the scene organized or delete assets that are no longer needed.

⑨ Queue

The Queue shows assets that are currently being generated or processed.

Use it to check the status of creation tasks, such as characters, animations, camera animations, or worlds. When generation is complete, the new asset becomes available in the relevant My Assets panel.
